Rex Moore Group, Inc in Reno, NV is seeking a Field Engineer to coordinate manpower, manage on-site materials, tools and rental equipment while aiding field workers' certification management.

You will support QA/QC, maintain current project documents, liaise with subcontractors, and participate in commissioning meetings. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience in Construction Management or Field preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and their components.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manpower onboarding and offloading on project sites.
• Manage on-site materials, logistics, tools, and rental equipment.
• Assist with QA/QC documentation and field training.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and participate in scheduling meetings.
• Ensure safety documentation and project documents are up to date (ACC Build).
• Enter time for field workers and assist with RFI/change management.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring quality assurance and quality control documentation, managing field training, and maintaining the most current project documents. You'll coordinate with subcontractors, assist with daily activities, and participate in project scheduling meetings. Additionally, you will handle safety documentation, material takeoffs, change management, and creating and managing production goals for field staff. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure the seamless operation of our field activities and project success.Key Responsibilities and Essential Tasks:Coordinating manpower and performing on-boarding and offloading of manpower on project sitesAssist with field workers certification managementManage on-site material, logistics, tools and rental equipmentAssist with QA/QC document managementContacts AHJ for installation inspections (as required by GC)Assists with field required commissioning meetings and documentationCoordinates with subcontractor’s field personnelSchedules and renews Underground Service Alert tickets and provides OSHA notifications as requiredCoordinates material releases with Project EngineerComplete required prefabrication documentationCoordinates field trainingEnsures most current project documents (drawings, submittals, RFI's, etc.) are available (uploaded to ACC Build)Reviews and understands project specific requirementsAssist foreman with daily activities and responsibilitiesAssist with RFI creation and managementCompletes Daily reports with input from project team as neededParticipates in all project scheduling meetingsParticipates in the required 10-5-2-1 documentation and notificationEnsures all required safety documentation is completedEnters time for field workersAssists with the completion of project as-builtsCompletes material takeoffsAssists with change managementCreate and manage production goals for field staffWhat's in it for You?We're growing and need people excited about honing their craft and developing their career.
