Job summary

Bowen is seeking a Field Engineer to partner with Project Managers, Engineers, and Superintendents to drive successful construction projects. You will oversee layout, field purchasing, document control, preplanning, safety, quality, and closeout activities, while supporting timely RFIs and field measurements.

Ideal candidates have a construction/engineering degree, strong communication, and proficiency with computer applications.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Basic understanding of cost analysis principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage layout, field purchasing, document control, preplanning, safety, quality, production management, and project closeout.
• Support project execution by interpreting designs and preparing drawings as needed.
• Maintain RFI logistics, logs, and timely responses to job questions.
• Assist in daily job reports and schedule monitoring.

What You’ll Do

As a Field Engineer, you'll work closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendent to manage all construction processes effectively to reach the goals set for the project. Duties will typically include, but are not limited to, layout, field purchasing, document control, preplanning, safety, quality, production management, and project closeout as well.
