Job summary

PEG, LLC is hiring motivated individuals to perform Home Energy Audits and improve energy performance for new residential construction within a 100-mile radius of Fairfax, VA.

As a certified HERS Rater, you will conduct inspections, operate blower door and duct leakage testing, collect data, and work with builders to meet RESNET and Energy Star guidelines. This role includes paid on-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; relevant certification preferred.
• HERS Rater or related certifications are a plus.
• 2 years HVAC or construction experience helpful.
• Willingness to travel within daily radius.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits per RESNET/Energy Star guidelines.
• Conduct blower door and duct leakage tests.
• Observe energy features and collect data.
• Engage with builders and code officials professionally.
