Job summary

Envirotest, a subsidiary of Opus Inspection, seeks a Maintenance Technician to service emission equipment and related lane systems. You will perform diagnostics, calibrations, and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and compliance. Strong troubleshooting, physical stamina, and independent work are essential for success.

Travel up to 30% is required, and you will contribute to maintaining records and documentation while delivering excellent customer service and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of testing equipment such as digital voltmeters and other test gear.
• Ability to use mechanical and electrical tools.
• Willingness to lift heavy objects and handle physical tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and calibration of emission-related equipment and lane systems.
• Install, test and calibrate equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Assist in maintenance/repair of electrical and electronic systems (alarms, network, peripherals).
• Conduct scheduled routine maintenance tasks per procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
