Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Electrician to install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, and motor control systems for refrigeration equipment.

You will troubleshoot during installations, work with high‑voltage systems, and collaborate with the field construction team. Extensive travel is required; candidates should have strong NEC knowledge, PLC familiarity, and the ability to lift heavy loads while working in varied conditions and weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Valid Colorado electrical license or a reciprocal license.
• Proficiency with rigid conduit bending and installation (up to 4 inches).
• Knowledge of three-phase motor systems and 480V AC motor control circuits.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationwide.
• Must pass pre-employment and regular drug testing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Run conduit, wiring, and connect electrical components such as disconnects, switches, circuit panels, transformers, and wire terminations.
• Install and test medium/high voltage automation and motor control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical layout and functionality issues during installations.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Maintain and diagnose issues with PLC sensors and control wiring.
