Job summary

McClure Engineering is seeking a Technician to support a wide range of projects involving complex buildings. The role requires coordinating with multiple disciplines on active construction sites and performing electrical installation checkout and quality control.

The ideal candidate will have a technical or associate degree, 2+ years of construction experience (prefer electrical), familiarity with electrical systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in construction, with preference for electrical work.
• Familiar with electrical systems and commercial construction.
• Experience on construction sites.
• Proficient with MS Office and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document electrical system installations for accuracy.
• Inspect electrical installations and components per design/specifications.
• Complete Punch Lists to ensure QC of electrical elements.
• Photograph and document incorrect installations for review.
• Effectively communicate with on-site staff about problematic installs and notifications.
• Coordinate with internal and external project members.
• Possess a basic understanding of NEC and related practices.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail.
