Job summary

B&D Electric in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Service Technician to join our field operations team. We provide a company vehicle and a daily route to deliver top-tier electrical service to residential and commercial clients across North Central Florida.

You will diagnose and repair electrical systems, operate the vehicle safely, and maintain accurate service documentation while representing the company professionally to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience running a service/work vehicle.
• Strong NEC knowledge and hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Self-starter who can work independently in the field.
• Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle scheduled and emergency service calls across our territory.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems: panels, wiring, outlets, fixtures, and more.
• Operate your assigned company vehicle safely and professionally.
• Manage vehicle inventory and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Be the face of B&D Electric for our customers, professional every time.
