TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an Electrical Inspector to support the Project Quality Team by conducting QA/QC inspections in the field for the electrical discipline. Qualifications include an engineering technology or science degree with QA/QC experience or a high school diploma with extensive related experience. Willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing QA/QC inspections in construction projects.
• Familiarity with electrical discipline codes and standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and client updates.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections in the field for electrical discipline.
• Prepare inspection and test reports and maintain quality files.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule inspections and tests.
• Interpret codes and standards to determine compliance of work.
• Identify nonconforming work and verify corrective actions.
• Communicate test results clearly to project teams.
• Assist in task planning meetings with quality input.
• Maintain safe work practices and follow lockout/tagout procedures.

Education

Associate's degree in engineering technology or science plus two years of QA/QC experience

High school diploma (GED) plus four years of related QA/QC construction experience
