Job summary

M&S Engineering LLC is seeking an Electric Distribution Designer Trainee in Spring Branch, Texas. The role involves staking electrical distribution lines and providing support to surveying and distribution design departments.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Possess a current Texas Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors extended hours, occasional overtime, and overnight travel.
• Experience in distribution line design and staking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete field notes/staking sheets and computer computations.
• Utilize level rod or tape to assist in determining location and elevations.
• Lay out stakes for map-making and Electric Distribution line construction.
• Cut and clear brush and trees from line of survey.
• Keep crew vehicle stocked with supplies and equipment.
