A premier IT solutions provider in California is seeking a Contract Engineering & Installation Technician with 1–3 years of experience in network cabling and wireless systems. The role involves supporting installations, testing of cabling, and assisting with hardware setup while providing direct support to senior technicians. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a willingness to grow into more senior roles. This temporary position offers an hourly rate of $35-$37 and is expected to last 4-6 months.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with network cabling (CAT5e/CAT6).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structured cabling installation and testing.
• Support wireless network installations and site surveys.
• Aid in mounting and connecting network hardware.
