Job summary

Exa is seeking a Forward Deployed Product Manager to work closely with customers in the field, translating their technical requirements into Exa product offerings and enabling long-term adoption across startups and enterprises.

Qualifications

• 2–8+ years of product management experience building technical or developer-facing products.
• Strong technical background - CS/EE degree, production engineering experience, or equivalent depth earned on the job.
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to diverse audiences, including the latest AI developments.
• Focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones.
• Ability to navigate complex customer/technical scenarios and come up with creative solutions.
• Preferred: Early startup or founding experience + technical PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers from startups to enterprises to identify use cases and drive long-term usage and expansion.
• Help sales define and propose tailored solutions and proof-of-value demos showcasing Exa’s value.
• Assist GTM on pricing in custom engagements.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, interfacing with executives and engineers.
• Identify common themes and high-leverage feature requests across customers.
• Drive execution of product enablement and roadmap alignment.
