United Rentals in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Field Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech IV) to maintain and repair complex equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision. You will travel to job sites, support field staff, and maintain thorough service records.

The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service as you contribute to a growing, award-winning team within the Service Department. Training opportunities are available.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders).
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
