Linder Industrial Machinery Company in Virginia seeks a Field/Shop Technician/Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment at shop or customer sites. The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, plus competitive hourly pay based on experience and skill level, with overtime opportunities and factory training.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Diesel Technology or related field preferred.
• Equivalent apprenticeship or hands-on experience considered.
• Experience with construction/mining/heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment and components.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain repairs.
• Develop repair plans and determine parts, materials, and tooling.
• Complete repairs safely and to quality standards.
• Prepare service reports, work orders, warranty documents, and recommendations.
• Order and manage parts through company systems.
• Communicate repair status and findings with supervisors and customers.
• Maintain company vehicles, service trucks, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all safety policies and perform shop/field service as assigned.
