This field-based role involves diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, and on-call rotations at customer sites, with up to 50% travel. You’ll work in both shop and field environments and support safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years' diesel repair experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of diesel repair experience or equivalent training
• Tier 4 engine and emission system knowledge preferred
• Strong diagnostic skills in mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with engine diagnostic tools and electrical components
• Willingness to learn and be part of a growing team
• Operates in both shop and field environments and can work in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools
• Perform routine inspections and Tier 4 engine maintenance
• Rebuild or repair engines, emissions systems, and pump components
• Maintain detailed records and report equipment conditions to the manager
• Follow all safety procedures and environmental standards
• Participate in weekly on-call schedule and respond to urgent repairs
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely
• Travel to job sites as needed (approx. 50%)
