Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a skilled Field Diesel Mechanic for our Customer Equipment Solutions team. The role involves independently performing maintenance and repairs on customer-owned equipment, ensuring high levels of service and professionalism.

You’ll leverage your mechanical aptitude and customer service skills as you travel to job sites, handle complex repairs, and contribute to training new technicians.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed.
