Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment. You will travel to customer sites and train junior technicians while documenting work orders daily.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and strong mechanical background knowledge of various engines.
• Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

• Other duties assigned as needed
