Job summary

Communication Technology Services (CTS) is seeking a Data Collections Specialist to support the National Team. This entry-level role involves bench data collection, post-deployment validation, and commissioning activities across various sites, with up to 75% travel.

Successful candidates will work closely with a System Performance Engineer to develop skills rapidly in field environments. Ideal candidates are hands-on, eager to learn, and capable of independent work at remote locations after

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or related field.
• 0–2 years in a technical or field-based role; internship or coursework in RF, wireless, or networking a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel up to 75%+.

Responsibilities

• Conduct benchmark walk data collections using SeeHawk Touch per CTS standards.
• Perform proof-of-product walk data collections using LML platform for post-deployment validation.
• Execute post-deployment data collection activities to verify system performance against design requirements.
• Participate in commissioning processes with the National SPE team.
• Troubleshoot data collection platforms and field equipment in real time during deployments.
• Maintain and care for assigned kits in coordination with manager and vendor.
• Submit travel requests and timesheets on time per CTS procedures.
• Recognize and report anomalies in data KPIs and DAS alarms.
