RESILIV is seeking a tech-savvy Field Data Collection Driver in Newton, Massachusetts, to support a digital mapping project. The role involves operating a company-provided vehicle with a specialized camera system to capture high-resolution street-level imagery.

No previous mapping experience is required, as full training will be provided. Candidates should have a clean driving record, be able to lift up to 25 lb, and possess a valid driver’s license. The position offers flexible full-time hours, Monday to Friday, and covers various driving routes.

Field Data Collection Driver

We’re seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and tech-savvy Field Data Collection Driver to support a high-precision mapping initiative for our client’s digital mapping project. In this role, you will operate a company-provided vehicle equipped with a specialized 360-degree camera system to capture street-level imagery. This imagery supports global geospatial technology platforms and mapping services, powering maps and navigation products worldwide.

No mapping experience required – Training and technical support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle equipped with camera systems to capture 360-degree imagery.
• Follow pre-defined driving routes provided daily.
• Upload collected data from onboard devices after each shift.
• Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure smooth operation.
• Communicate with the technical support team regarding issues or updates.
• Maintain a professional and courteous presence while representing the program in public areas.

Additional Details

All equipment, vehicles, and training are provided.

Candidates must pass a background check, comply with routine safety screenings, and complete onboarding training.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility depending on weather and route completion.

Willing to drive up to 8 hours/day on public roads, occasionally covering long distances.

Access to secure parking with CCTV for the company vehicle is preferred – assistance may be provided for qualifying candidates.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience (5+ preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and comfort using mobile apps or in-vehicle technology.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb (10–15 kg) occasionally and perform basic physical tasks related to equipment setup.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently for extended hours.

• Previous experience in field data collection, delivery driving, or GIS-related roles.
• Familiarity with geospatial tools or interest in mapping technologies.
