FST Technical Services is seeking an experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support a major pharmaceutical construction project in Lebanon, Indiana. This on-site role focuses on piping fabrication, welding, installation, testing, and turnover with full per diem and mobilization funds for qualified traveling candidates.

The CWI will oversee and verify quality of piping systems, perform weld inspections, review NDT results, and ensure compliance with ASME B31.3 and project specifications

Formación

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification or equivalent required.
• Minimum 10 years of construction quality experience in mechanical systems, piping fabrication, welding, and installation.
• Minimum 5 years in cleanroom/pharma/controlled-environment facilities with GMP exposure.

Responsabilidades

• Provide field quality oversight for piping fabrication, welding, and installation across construction, startup, and turnover.
• Perform and review weld inspections as a CWI, including visual inspection.
• Review NDT results (RT, UT, PT, MT) and verify welder qualifications, WPSs, and PQRs.
• Verify piping fabrication and installation per ASME B31.3, drawings, and project standards.
• Maintain inspection reports, testing records, turnover packages, NCRs, and quality metrics.
