Databricks is seeking a Field Chief Technology Officer (Field CTO) for the Public Sector business to serve as a senior, customer‑facing technology and mission transformation leader for strategic government and education accounts. This individual‑contributor role sits at the intersection of data and AI strategy, mission modernization, public‑sector operating models, and executive relationship building, working closely with C‑level leaders to drive multi‑year change on the data platform while representing real‑world needs back into Databricks. The role will focus on helping agencies, departments, and public institutions use the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to modernize data estates, strengthen security, improve operations, and deploy AI responsibly in support of mission outcomes.
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is: $264,000 – $363,000 USD. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including job‑related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
