Job summary

Celonis is seeking a Field CTO to serve as a high-impact technical advisor for strategic prospects and customers. You will translate complex transformations into scalable technical strategies, driving innovation with Process Intelligence and Enterprise Modernization at a global scale.

You will partner with executives to align long-term goals with Celonis’ technical vision, and lead the data, cloud, and innovation roadmap for the largest accounts.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of relevant experience, ideally CTO or Field CTO at a consultancy or EA leadership in a major corporation.
• Proven ability to present complex technical visions to C-suite stakeholders with business value.
• Deep experience in Enterprise Modernization, EA methodologies, and Agentic AI.
• Ability to pivot from high-level architecture to hands-on demo.
• Strong background in Data Architecture, API ecosystems, and cloud-native SaaS (Salesforce/ServiceNow).
• Strong Oracle knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Executive advisory to C-level executives, aligning strategic goals with the Celonis technical vision.
• Lead data, cloud, and innovation strategy for large global accounts using Capability Mapping.
• Architect first-of-a-kind solutions with emergent technologies like Agentic AI.
• Partner with Sales and Value Engineering to drive revenue from new acquisitions and upsells.
• Provide a feedback loop between Product & Engineering and market needs.
• Develop and deliver customer-facing position papers and presentations establishing brand leadership.
