The role emphasizes security-by-design,CI/CD, and scalable platform engineering, with travel up to 25-100% depending on client needs. Strong communication to C-level stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in hands-on, client-facing technology roles with 5+ years architecting on Google Cloud Platform.
• 7+ years independently owning client engagements from design to go-live with delivery leadership.
• 3+ years hands-on with Terraform, VPC networking, GKE, Apigee/API gateways, Cloud Run, CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years implementing security-by-design principles (IAM, encryption, network segmentation).
• 5+ years leading distributed global engineering teams and communicating with executives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (12 years work exp if no degree). Preferred: Bachelor's in CS/Engineering; Google Cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery end-to-end for cloud infrastructure and modernization programs.
• Design migration waves, refactoring patterns, and deployment cadences to maximize velocity.
• Provide technical advisory on GCP landing zones, container orchestration, API gateways, and security controls.
• Lead cross-border delivery teams, coordinating onshore and offshore engineers.
• Drive rapid time-to-value by deploying platform foundations and migrating workloads in weeks.
• Establish automated deployment guardrails, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and SRE readiness.
