The Mason Conservation District is seeking one or more Field Crew Members to join our team for habitat restoration projects. Responsibilities include planting, site maintenance, and applying herbicides under supervision of a licensed applicator.
Qualified applicants should be able to work as part of a crew, lift up to 50 pounds, operate hand and power tools, and pass a background check and drug test. This is a full-time position with grant funding support and competitive benefits.
The Mason Conservation District is seeking to fill at least one Field Crew Member position to join our team.
The Field Crew Member position supports the District’s mission by performing various duties to implement and maintain habitat restoration projects.
The successful candidate will have prior proven ability to work efficiently and effectively on a team to implement restoration activities including planting, maintenance of planting sites using power tools, and treatment of invasive plants with the use of herbicides.
This position is supervised by the Habitat Restoration Crew Lead.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following.
