Qualifications

• Must have a valid Washington State driver's license and be insurable under Nisqually Indian Tribe's policy.
• Must be able to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays and respond to emergencies.

Nature of Work:

This position independently performs skilled technical duties or assists the Field Crew Supervisor with project leadership. The Field Crew Lead also assists in project design necessary to implement program objectives of the Natural Resources Department.

This position has regular contact with or control over Indian Children and Vulnerable Adults. • Knowledge of fisheries biology fundamentals.
• Knowledge of basic fisheries field techniques.

• Ability to operate and maintain small boats, motors, trucks, and field equipment.
• Ability to identify species relative to program assignment.
• Ability to survey in river data accurately.
• Ability to perform strenuous work in difficult conditions.

• Knowledge of all functions and operations within assigned program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 4 years' experience in Technician position or a comparable combination of experience and/or education.
• Must have a valid Washington State driver's license and be insurable under the Nisqually Indian Tribe's insurance policy.
• Must be able to work during irregular hours including weekends and holidays and respond to emergencies.
