Exacta Land Surveyors LLC in Worthington, Ohio is seeking a Field Crew Chief to support builder services and surveys. You will operate GPS, total stations, and data collectors outdoors year‑round, ensuring elevations and boundaries are precise for title surveys and certificates.

You must be self‑managed, safety‑minded, and able to work independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining high data quality and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Self-managed, responsible, safe and enjoy working independently.
• Ability to complete projects accurately and on time as assigned by Field Manager.
• Proficient with essential math operations and basic algebra/trigonometry/geometry for field calculations.

Responsibilities

• Self-manage and complete field projects accurately and on time.
• Download/upload survey data to proper files and field data collectors.
• Mark measurement points with elevation and identifiers.
• Clear brush/trees from survey lines and maintain data quality.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle readiness, return unused supplies.
• Adhere to company policies and resolve client issues professionally.
• Build effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• Perform duties to meet business needs safely and ethically.
