Job summary

Primoris Engineering is seeking a Crew Chief to lead a survey team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will supervise field crews, ensure safety, interpret plans, and coordinate with project managers to keep projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in construction with leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to read blueprints. CDL may be required depending on project needs; OSHA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related certifications preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in construction or utility services with 1–2 years in leadership roles.
• Must be able to read blueprints and specifications; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew, delegating tasks clearly.
• Ensure safety compliance with policies and regulations.
• Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specs.
• Oversee equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Monitor progress and address issues to maintain schedule and quality.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Maintain daily reports on progress, resources, and safety observations.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, clients, and crew.
• Train and mentor junior crew members.
• Ensure proper care of vehicles and tools.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and post-project reviews.
