Job summary

Artisan Design Group (ADG) is seeking a Drafting Field Technician (Templater) to visit residential sites, capture precise measurements, and prepare data for fabrication and installation of countertops. The role requires independence, strong attention to detail, and professional customer interaction.

Responsibilities include templating, documenting measurements, coordinating with sales and operations, and ensuring sites are ready for fabrication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience using CAD or a similar drafting/design application.
• Customer service experience and/or supporting sales or project teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, percentages).
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving standards based on MVR.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential jobsites according to the daily schedule.
• Measure and template countertop areas to company standards.
• Identify conditions or issues impacting fabrication or installation.
• Document and submit measurements and job information promptly.
• Communicate jobsite details to sales and operations teams.
• Serve as a liaison between customers, contractors, and internal teams.
