Job summary

Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Corrosion Technician in Junction City, WI to support pipeline, tank, and station assets through corrosion prevention, inspection, maintenance, and repair activities. You will collect and analyze data on cathodic protection, internal corrosion, and coatings while collaborating with field personnel, contractors, customers, and internal teams to ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• 1+ years pipeline/corrosion control experience or 2-year technical college degree.
• Willing to travel up to 25% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of corrosion control systems for pipelines, tanks and stations.
• Support corrosion prevention and asset integrity in the assigned area.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data on cathodic protection, internal corrosion and coatings.
• Initiate, coordinate, and manage remediation projects related to corrosion control and asset integrity.
• Partner with other business areas to support corrosion maintenance and reliability.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Follow safety rules and promote a strong safety culture.
