Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational training in mechanics, electronics, or electrical systems preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems preferred.
• Experience with process instrumentation, pump controls, VFDs or related equipment preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills required.
• Proactive, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with Gmail, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team.
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain electrical controls equipment in water/wastewater industry.
• Install, start up, calibrate, and troubleshoot process instrumentation.
• Startup, troubleshooting, retrofits, repairs on pump control systems including VFDs/soft starters.
• Complete wiring, conduit, control panel setup, and service entrance work.
• Assist with planning, installing, and troubleshooting new electrical systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues and provide field service to customers.
• Serve as Emergency Field Service Responder, including travel and after-hours work.
• Maintain clear communication on project status and needs.
• Follow all safety procedures.
