Job summary

DT Midstream, Inc. seeks a Field Controls Technician I/II to support operations in Washington, MI. The role focuses on safe installation, repair and maintenance of control systems, measurement and electrical components within a midstream environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 3 years of Level II experience, with training available for gas processing, compression and pipeline tasks. Strong safety and problem‑solving skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Level II - 3 years experience.
• Experience in natural gas processing, compression and/or pipeline preferred, but will train as necessary.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Obtain all beginning OQ tasks within 6 months.
• Excellent vehicle driving record.
• Good communication, problem solving and physical perceptive skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements safe work practices and a proactive safety culture while ensuring safety for the employee, the public, and the environment always.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and record keeping requirements are met and continually monitored.
• Have a basic understanding of installation, repair & maintenance of controls, measurement, instrumentation and electrical components.
