Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a field-based valve technician to perform control valve repairs and diagnostics on site at customer locations. The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety standards and company procedures while maintaining clear communication with clients.

You will work independently, travel up to 30% and ensure all reporting aligns with TEAM’s quality system. A strong background in valve maintenance and familiarity with diagnostic tools is required.

Qualifications

• Education preferred: high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
• Control Valve Manufacturers Training Courses and/or certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of HART Communicator or other diagnostic analyzer manufacturer required.
• 0 to 30% minimum travel requirement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting hazards.
• Perform control valve repair following quality procedures.
• Directly communicate with customers.
• Work autonomously in valve repair process.
• Ensure all diagnostic, testing, and repair reports comply with quality system.
