Benchmark Utility Services is seeking a Construction Trades Recruiter to source, screen, and hire skilled construction professionals. The role emphasizes field presence, relationship-building with candidates and leadership, and developing continuous pipelines to support project staffing across service areas.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum two years of recruiting experience, preferably within construction, utilities, manufacturing, transportation, or skilled trades.
• Experience recruiting field employees in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition best practices.
• Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and operational leadership.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel frequently throughout assigned territories.

Aufgaben

• Source, recruit, screen, interview, and hire qualified construction professionals including operators, foremen, crew leaders, laborers, pipe layers, utility workers, and other skilled trades.
• Develop and maintain a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates through field recruiting, networking, referrals, job fairs, trade schools, workforce development organizations, and community outreach.
• Conduct regular visits to active job sites to build relationships with field leadership, understand staffing needs, and identify recruiting opportunities.
• Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Operations leadership to understand current and upcoming workforce requirements.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews, hiring events, recruiting campaigns, and hiring initiatives.
• Maintain frequent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment and hiring process to ensure positive candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, interview notes, recruiting activity, and hiring status within the ATS.
• Track recruiting metrics including applicant flow, interviews, hires, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and other KPIs.
• Promote Benchmark Utility Services' culture, values, and employment brand throughout the recruiting process.
• Build long-term relationships with candidates to develop future talent pipelines for anticipated staffing needs.
