Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Contract Field Supervisor in Londonderry, NH to oversee overhead and underground construction activities, coordinate crews, verify path and equipment, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance 90% in the field.

You will manage logs, attend safety meetings, liaise with NGAN regional technicians, and support project leadership while handling audits, travel as needed, and occasional remote work with a docking station and two monitors provided.

Qualifications

• Coax and Fiber, construction experience a must.
• Basic computer experience a must to use Microsoft, Smartsheets, teams, P2 daily.
• Network Maintenance Technician experience a plus and reading design prints.
• Must be willing to travel as needed.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Will be completing construction quality audits in the field 80% of the time, 20% office pc work.
• Wide range of inspections on nodes, amplifiers, power supplies, fiber taps, enclosures etc., not limited to.
• Some jobs could be 3-4 hours away - hotel stays may be required.
• 80% Field work and 20% remote office to close out work and assign audits.
• May join Teams calls or communicate with BPs.
• Must be available M-F 8a-5p via phone to troubleshoot inspections.
• Audits and documentation completed timely; some Smartsheet work daily.
• This role is largely independent; team is dispersed.
• Interview process 2 rounds via Teams; long-term need.

Responsibilities

• Updating the JT or Polaris entry (job docs/maps) QC for path verification.
• Primary contractor interface day-to-day in the field and acts as the NGAN liaison with Regional network Technicians.
• New or upgraded power supply in place and operational prior to cut date.
• Overall responsibility for quality of the NGAN product from contractor to Operations handed off to.
• Role is field-heavy, with 90% time in the field.
