Job summary

Corrpro Companies is seeking a Field Construction Operator to join our crew in California. The role involves operating equipment and installing cathodic protection systems on-site, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Travel will be required, up to 80% overnight on projects, and the candidate should have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a TWIC card and a DOT medical card as needed. Corrpro offers competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license required.
• Must have or be eligible for TWIC card and DOT Medical Card.
• 3 years of construction labor and equipment operating experience (auger drill, excavator, backhoe, skid steer).
• Experience in cathodic protection installations helpful.
• Able to effectively communicate with customers and fellow employees.
• Adapt to work-related demands without frustration.
• Conscientious and dependable to produce results.
• Must be able to travel overnight 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and install cathodic protection systems.
• Review field file with Foreman or Project Manager to understand job requirements for materials and installation.
• Ensure materials and equipment are ready before starting work.
• Notify Foreman of unanticipated field changes and suggest solutions.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely at all times.
• Participate in daily toolbox safety meetings and document equipment safety inspection audits.
