Job summary

The Field Manager at Shea Homes Active Lifestyle Communities oversees field activities and reporting for new home construction, directing teams and TradePartners, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across the community.

You will lead onsite meetings, coordinate schedules with trade partners, monitor QA milestones, and manage option selections and safety programs to deliver defect-free homes on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; BA/BS preferred.
• Advanced computer skills / Shea Operating systems.
• Adheres to Shea Homes policies and procedures.
• Leads onsite TradePartner meetings.
• Delivers homes meeting Shea quality standards.
• Strong problem solving and leadership abilities.
• Solid knowledge of construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain proactive customer communication and log conversations.
• Manage and resolve customer issues in a timely manner and report progress.
• Review surveys and reporting tools to identify trends and adjust.
• Walk each room and ensure QA milestones are met with corrective actions.
• Update construction schedule daily and coordinate with TradePartners.
• Ensure home is next-Trade-ready and manage options tracking.
• Conduct site safety audits and maintain OSHA documentation.
• Maintain positive TradePartner relationships and approve invoices daily.
• Deliver defect-free homes and manage cost controls per project.
