Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Summer Construction Intern for a field project site in Kansas. You will assist field superintendents with daily tasks, gather and review reports, and help with material expediting, location, and cost/progress tracking.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Construction/Management Engineering program, willing to relocate for Summer 2027, and capable of outdoor work and lifting up to 50 pounds. This internship emphasizes hands-on learning on active projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Construction/Management Engineering program.
• Able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search) if selected.
• Willing to relocate for the Summer 2027 internship program and work on a field site.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in rugged environments.
