Job summary

Special Testing Laboratories I is seeking diligent and observant individuals to join our team to help inspect soil and concrete in the New London County, Connecticut area. No experience is necessary, we will train you!

Your day will involve visiting various construction jobsites and working directly with project superintendents. You will learn, on-the-job, the skills necessary to be successful in this role and other potential roles within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of a high-school diploma, college a plus
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well with staff and clients in a professional manner
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• A valid driver's license and have daily access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to lift and carry in excess of 65 pounds

Responsibilities

• Visit various construction jobsites to assist with inspections and learn on the job
• Work directly with project superintendents to understand inspection processes
• Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills for future roles within the company
