Qualifications
3+ years of relevant field inspection experience in civil construction projects.
Working knowledge of construction materials, methods, and common inspection practices.
OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain prior to starting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate field reports.
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Responsibilities
Assist in performing daily on-site inspections of construction activities.
Observe and report on contractor methods, materials, and workmanship.
Document construction progress through photos and inspection reports.
Support field and laboratory testing of construction materials.
Identify and report any non-compliant or defective work to senior staff.
Help ensure OSHA safety standards are followed.
Communicate effectively with field staff and contractors.
Attend site meetings as needed.
