Job summary

SBA Communications is seeking an Assistant Construction Supervisor to support planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction/colocation projects. You will work with field crews, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure quality sites on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, 1+ years in construction or equipment installation, and familiarity with office software. Travel up to 20% and safety certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED in related field of study.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; and 1+ years of construction or equipment installation experience.
• Wireless telecommunications experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Domestic travel 20% of the time.
• Evenings and weekends as required.
• Valid Government Issued Driver's License.
• Other OSHA 10Hr Safety Course Pref
• Other CDL Pref
• First Aid Certification (Adult) Pref
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Pref
• Forklift Certification Pref

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling, prioritizing and organizing material deliveries, equipment, manpower and subcontractors to ensure projects progress effectively and efficiently.
• Coordinate with company priorities and customer expectations.
• Assist in pre-construction to identify site scope.
• Attend bid walks and submit documentation to management.
• Facilitate effective communication within construction services and other departments.
• Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to job sites.
• Maintain safety practices and ensure schedule progress.
