Atmos Energy Corporation is seeking a Field Construction Coordinator to support projects in Steamboat Springs, CO and Craig, CO. The role requires residency within the service area and offers competitive pay with housing allowances. Training is provided and relocation assistance may be considered.
Full-time position with potential CDL-A preference. Candidates should have four years of natural gas construction/maintenance experience, valid license, and the necessary OQs.
Position will cover both Steamboat Springs, CO and Craig, CO*. The successful candidate may be located in either Steamboat Springs or Craig, CO*. Residency requirements apply. May be hired as a Field Construction Coordinator or a Sr Field Construction Coordinator dependent upon qualifications and experience. Full time. CDL-A preferred. All training provided. Hourly pay rate: Craig, CO Field Construction Coordinator: $39.75 - $45.00 Sr Field Construction Coordinator: $44.25 – $53.00 Steamboat Springs, CO Field Construction Coordinator $48.25 - $54.00 (includes $4.50 additional housing allowance – base minimum pay is $43.75 before housing allowance) Sr Field Construction Coordinator $53.50 - $60 (including $4.50 additional housing allowance – base minimum pay is $49.25 before housing allowance) Housing allowance of $4.50 per hour is added to base pay for Steamboat Springs based employees Geographic location of the assigned office determines higher-tier market pay applied to Steamboat Springs, CO only. Additional housing allowance is only applied to the Steamboat Springs, CO location and requires residency in immediate service area. Craig, CO candidates are ineligible for additional housing allowance. Educational/Experience Level: High school diploma or equivalent and Four years natural gas construction and maintenance, and/or pipeline operations field experience. Must have obtained Sr Level status in construction maintenance or pipeline operations
Certificates, Licenses, etc.: Must have and maintain minimum Operator Qualifications (OQs) and classroom training for position. Must obtain and maintain any other required OQs and classroom training or certifications within six months. Must have and maintain a Competent Person certificate
Requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Company standards. May require CDL, if required see Driver Policy. May require a welding certificate.
Requires working knowledge of various software applications for data entry, reference and/or retrieval tasks.
Requires the ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information.
Ability to lift and carry 53 pounds from the ground to 52 inches. (Ex: lifting and operating fire extinguisher). Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and/or crouch. Ability to walk a distance of 500 feet. Ability to climb a 19-inch step. (Ex: climbing in and out of vehicle). Requires the acute sense of sight and hearing (corrected or uncorrected) and strong sense of smell. Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting. Must be able to lift tools, equipment and materials up to and including 60 pounds.
Work requires entry to customer premises. Works indoors in an office environment and outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to extremes of climate and temperatures, high noise levels, rough terrain, and occasional work on ladders, roofs, attics, and under houses as well as confined spaces. Works as an individual contributor and/or as member of a team. May have residence requirement due to call‑out response time.
As a Safety‑Sensitive position, pre and post employment screenings, including but not limited to drug testing as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks are required.
