Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is seeking a skilled Compressor Mechanic for on-site field maintenance across Appalachia and select regions. You will troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul compressors and generators, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with emissions standards.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with Waukesha engines and related control boards, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in engine and compressor maintenance.
• Experience with repairing/overhauling Waukesha engines (3304, 3306, 3500, 3600).
• Experience repairing Ariel and Gemini Frames.
• Experience with Murphy, Centurion, TTD, and Altronic electronic control boards.
• Repairing and upgrading compressor ignition systems, speed controls, pumps and regulators.
• Basic understanding of surface production equipment and applications.
• Must have proven mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of compressors/generators.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose compressor/generator system shutdowns and failures.
• Order and stock maintenance and repair parts as needed.
• Ensure equipment is operating under emissions guidelines/standards.
• Complete necessary paperwork/data entry.
• Understand and comply with all safety practices, policies and procedures.
• Handle emergency callouts as needed.
• Ensure communication with field operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
