Job summary

Comcast in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Field Technician to perform routine plant maintenance, troubleshoot service outages, and conduct PCI tracking and repairs across Video, CDV, and CHSI services. Qualifications

• Experience in cable telecommunications or broadband.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot in field.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot analog and digital optics to support connectivity to nodes and OLT/vBNG.
• Isolate and resolve fiber optic signal impairments for HFC/EPON networks.
• Perform construction maintenance: splice and activate coaxial plant, replace damaged equipment.
• Respond to damage scenarios and coordinate fixes with other departments.
• Perform CLI ride-out and leakage tracking as needed.
