Field Collections Agent

Annual earnings: up to £35,765 (inclusive of the car allowance)

SALARY:

Basic starting salary from £27,965 with potential for increase, plus £4,200 p.a. car allowance & fuel card (business use only).

Here at Orbit, we aim to go above and beyond. Our monthly bonus structure is uncapped, with bonuses typically ranging from £200 to £400 per month, potentially increasing your annual earnings to £35,765 (including the car allowance).

SHIFTS:

• Working patterns designed to support your work-life balance.
• Operating hours are between
  • 8am – 8pm, Monday to Friday
  • 9am - 1pm on Saturday
• A 40-hour workweek, with 10 hours during peak hours:
  • Monday to Friday 4pm – 8pm
  • Saturday 9am – 1pm

ROLE:

As a Field Collections Agent at Orbit Credit Services, you will need to be comfortable speaking with customers about their financial situations and supporting them to get back on track with their arrears. Your region will be across Derby, and your work will involve:

• Visiting customers at their homes to support debt recovery
• Handling water accounts and regulated work
• Resolving accounts personally
• Taking payments, setting up repayment plans, and reconnecting accounts
• Educating customers on the consequences of non-payment
• Using an iPad to update visit outcomes and account information

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• A clear criminal record
• No CCJs or IVAs within the last 6 years
• Own a car with six points or less on your licence
• Business insurance add-on for your vehicle
• Technologically competent and comfortable working independently

Note: Successful candidates will undergo a basic credit and criminal background check. We cannot proceed with interviews if a CCJ, IVA, or Bankruptcy appears on a credit report or if you do not have full right to work in the UK.
