Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Field Clinical Specialist for Shockwave Medical in the Lafayette/Lake Charles, LA area. You will provide case support to physicians during peripheral and coronary procedures, in pre- and post-market phases, and contribute to clinical studies with training and data collection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, nursing or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience directly supporting interventional or surgical procedures within a hospital setting OR 1 year of industry, hospital-based life sciences, sales support experience.
• Working knowledge of clinical research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance guidelines for clinical trials.
• History of effective collaboration with regulatory agencies through clinical studies and market releases.
• Product knowledge including product vigilance and medical device reporting.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer skills (MS Office products, word processing, spreadsheets).
• Finance and budgeting knowledge.
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
• High energy and results-oriented, team player.

Responsibilities

• Train physician and hospital staff; provide procedural case coverage to ensure safe use of medical devices.
• Meet internal and external customer needs with urgency and drive.
• Present clinical study training materials to support safe device use and study protocols.
• Manage key study investigators and foster relationships with medical advisors and clinical leaders.
• Collaborate with clinical research colleagues to meet business needs and ensure timely data collection.
