Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems seeks a Field Clinical Representative to provide technical and clinical expertise, education, and field support for the Inspire therapy adoption. You will work with physicians, clinics, and sales teams to drive procedural success and ongoing training.

The role requires traveling within the territory, maintaining credentials, and delivering post-training follow-up and device troubleshooting. A clinical or healthcare background with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years clinical/healthcare or medical device industry experience required; or 2+ years with Bachelor’s.
• Strong communication and collaboration in clinical settings.

Essential Job Functions

The Field Clinical Representative provides technical and clinical expertise, educational and field support to ensure the safe adoption of the Inspire therapy and products. The FCR is responsible for working with customers, physicians, clinic staff and Inspire field staff to drive procedural and practice success.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

• Provide technical support during implant procedures and at device activation.


• Maintain credentials enabling access to assigned hospitals and clinics.


• Provide technical leadership and education in assigned region to account clinical staff.


• Provide post-training follow up including procedural reviews, in servicing and support.


• Assist customers in device troubleshooting.


• Collaborate with sales personnel on appropriate training/support for targeted customers.


• Proactively disseminate peer-reviewed scientific and clinical information to customers and assigned sales team as needed.


• Provide technical expertise for assigned regional education and training activities.


• Stay current on relevant scientific publications and clinical evidence.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

• Bachelors’ degree and 2+ years of related clinical, healthcare or medical device industry experience (OR) Bachelor's degree and 1+ years applicable Inspire experience (OR) an Associates’ degree or Professional Certification and 5+ years of related clinical/healthcare or medical device industry experience.


• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a clinical setting.


• Strong computer skills with MS office including PowerPoint and Excel.


• Problem solving/trouble shooting skills.


• Ability to travel (including overnights as needed) within territory.

Preferred

• Degree in Nursing, Engineering, Science or technical discipline.


• Previous Operating Room (surgical) coverage with implantable devices.

The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.

Salary

$100,000—$130,000 USD
