Qualifications

• Four year college degree preferred with prior insurance experience.
• Ability to access and inspect all areas of a dwelling, including roofs and tight spaces.
• Excellent communication with insureds and stakeholders throughout the claim lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Handle the entire claim adjustment independently, reviewing loss facts and making coverage decisions.
• Contact insureds to schedule inspections, travel to properties, and conduct inspections in a timely manner.
• Inspect and climb ladders safely for roof assessments.
• Photograph, sketch and scope damages; document all actions in the claim file.
• Maintain informed communication with insureds on investigation progress and outcomes.
• Determine claim value and issue payments within authority; coordinate with outside experts when needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable regulations.
