Job summary

Transcat, located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, is seeking a Calibration Technician to provide onsite calibration services within an 8-hour radius. This position involves both travel and laboratory support when not traveling.

The ideal candidate should have calibration experience, a valid driver’s license, and excellent customer service skills. A competitive salary structure between $30.00 - $38.00/hour is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
• Military PMEL training is desired.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; maneuver a 400-pound cart.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate measurement and test equipment to manufacturers' specifications.
• Determine out-of-tolerance conditions for calibration standards.
• Update and maintain proper documentation of services.
