Job summary

Tektronix, a Ralliant Corporation subsidiary, seeks a Field Calibration Technician to perform precise calibrations at customer sites across diverse industries. This field-based role offers travel, local day trips and occasional overnight assignments, and the chance to represent Tektronix in the field.

You will document results in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and related standards, support multiple calibration disciplines, and work with customers and teammates to ensure timely, quality service

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of calibration experience in a lab or field
• Experience with RF/GP calibration is preferred
• Willingness to travel for local and overnight assignments with company-covered expenses
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and related calibration standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures
• Must have active and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations per company procedures and applicable standards.
• Document calibration results with full traceability and accuracy.
• Travel to customer sites, balancing local assignments with overnight trips.
• Set up mobile calibration workstations and onsite labs.
• Communicate progress and technical needs to customers and supervisors.
• Engage in cross-training to grow skills across disciplines.
• Share feedback to improve service delivery and customer experience.
• Adhere to safety protocols, SOPs, and calibration standards.
