Job summary

Superior Central Boiler is seeking a Service Technician to join a field-first team in the commercial and industrial boiler sector. You will perform installations, maintenance, and complex troubleshooting across diverse sites, taking ownership of field service routes with strong support from the company.

Role requires a valid driver's license and a background in boiler maintenance or HVAC/R, plus the ability to read electrical ladders and piping diagrams.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Background in industrial boiler maintenance, HVAC/R, or related mechanical field.
• Ability to read electrical ladders and piping diagrams.
• Ability to manage field service routes independently.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform boiler installations, routine maintenance, and complex repairs.
• Troubleshoot burner sequences and boiler logic using diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Conduct mechanical maintenance, including open/close procedures and refractory repairs.
• Conduct field inspections to meet local codes and safety standards.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients and deliver quality field service.
• Program and commission combustion management systems (Fireye, Siemens, Honeywell).
