Job summary

Watkins Distributing, LLC. is seeking Order Writing Beverage Merchandisers to travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets, stocking, displaying, rotating products, and independently creating beverage orders for accounts along their route.

Responsibilities include replenishing shelves, rotating products by expiration, managing inventory, and constructing promotional displays. This role requires physical activity, occasional weekends, and driving between stops with a valid license.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with ability to work without direct supervision.
• Organized with strong attention to detail and customer service.
• Strong decision-making related to inventory and order writing.
• Active role requiring movement and field work across locations.
• Flexible, dynamic position; not a 9-5 office job.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide array of beverage products safely and efficiently.
• Replenish shelves, coolers, displays, and backstock areas.
• Rotate products to meet expiration dates and freshness.
• Independently write beverage orders for assigned accounts.
• Assess inventory and promotions when writing orders.
• Ensure orders meet account needs and minimize stockouts/overstocks.
• Build and dismantle branded displays and endcaps.
• Install signage and POS materials.
• Safely handle manual equipment (hand trucks) for lifting and transporting.
• Drive company or personal vehicle between stops.
• Follow directions from sales rep and merchandising supervisor.
